CEREC^® – Single visit, all ceramic, metal free crowns

A state of the art innovation is available in our office; “CAD-CAM crown.” This crown is designed by a computer to fit your tooth precisely, therefore eliminating the laboratory step in manufacturing the crown.

With CEREC^®’s CAD-CAM technology, the crown is milled in our office so there is no need for a temporary crown and a second appointment. CEREC^® crowns are milled out of a single block of compressed porcelain. This material is as strong as your natural tooth enamel.

Tooth Replacement (Dentures, Bridges and Implants)

There are different alternatives to replacing missing teeth.
Custom Made Dentures Missing teeth can be replaced using alternatives including custom made dentures. The two types of custom made dentures are partial dentures, and full dentures. Both types are removable.

Implants Another option available for denture patients is an implant -retained denture. An implant holds natural-looking crowns and bridges securely in the mouth without requiring clasps or reducing neighboring teeth. An implant denture stays in the mouth and is not removable.

Bridge A porcelain bridge is attached securely to the supporting teeth. A porcelain bridge can help you chew and speak properly, keep other teeth from shifting and help prevent problems with your bite or jaw.

Dental Implants Implants stop the bone loss associated with missing teeth. Implants are small, titanium posts that replace the roots of the missing teeth. A crown is secured to the implant, which holds the teeth firmly in place.

Tooth Colored Fillings

Since our office is amalgam free, Dr. Boschetti uses tooth colored restorations to restore smaller cavities, so you leave our office with no unsightly silver fillings. Even larger restorations can be restored with a tooth colored material with the use of CEREC, one visit technology.

Natural Looking all Porcelain Crowns

Natural looking all Porcelain Crowns- When we need to replace a filling, typically the best option is to protect your tooth with a crown. Replacing a filling with another filling can remove so much supporting tooth structure that the tooth can break. This is especially true if decay has formed underneath the old filling, requiring us to remove the decayed areas also.

Placing a crown can prevent these problems. A crown covers and protects the tooth. It seals out plaque and bacteria and restores the strength and shape of the tooth.

When we evaluate a filling that needs replacement, we consider both the size of the filling and the amount of healthy tooth structure that remains. To determine if a crown is right for you, we perform a thorough examination. If we find that a crown is the most appropriate treatment for your situation, we talk with you about the best kind of crown to use.

Veneers and Bonding

Veneers are thin shells of porcelain bonded to the front of teeth. They can be a great choice to improve teeth that are stained, crooked, worn, or have gaps. If you have a slight imperfection in your teeth, bonding can be a simple way to improve your smile and can be performed quickly and pain free. Often times, your veneer can be fabricated in just one visit using CEREC technology.
